We Made it to PARIS!!

On Thursday, June 20, 2013 at approximately 1000 hours- we loaded the bus for our departure for St. Pancras Station in London.  At 1131 hours we departed upon the Eurostar Train for Paris.  At 1447 hours we arrived at Paris Nord Station and met our shuttle bus at 112 Maubeuge Street for a shuttle to Hotel Malar.  Later in the evening we went on a cruise upon The River Seine.  On Friday, June 21, 2013 at approximately 0930 hours- we left the hotel for the home of author Harriet Welty Rochefort, an American now living in Paris, who briefed us on French culture.  We went on a cemetery tour of the Pere-Lachaise Cemetery where famous poets, artists, musicians and others are buried.  This cemetery is approximately 1200 acres- absolutely mammoth cemetery with just nearly 5 million buried here.

Absolutely beautiful cemetery!
